Inspired by the music of Dmitri Shostakovich for string quartet, the renowned Australian circus company Circa joins forces with the French Quatuor Debussy ensemble in Opus: an unexpected, hybrid spectacle based on daring feats of acrobatics, supple expressions of movement and music, and poetic performances. Fourteen acrobats and four musicians explore with stunning power, sensitivity and virtuosity the faint boundaries that separate body and soul, individual and group, and the tragic from the comic.
