European seminar on the sustainable development of circus arts

Circostrada Network, coordinated by HorsLesMurs, is organising Fresh Circus #2, European seminar on the
sustainable development of circus arts, on the 12th and 13th of April 2012. The goal of this moment of reflection and exchange is to formulate a series of practical recommendations to improve the infrastructure and recognition of the sector.
To create opportunities for artistic mobility, to bring the performing arts into the digital era, to facilitate access to culture, to think of new economic models, to increase recognition of the arts within society, to participate in the renewal of public policies – these are but a few of the challenges which the entire cultural sector faces, and each is a subject which can greatly benefit from circusʼ innovative contributions.
In order to facilitate the approach and the treatment of issues linked to our sector, the members of Circostrada Network propose to articulate the seminar around ten thematic working sessions. Within this framework, in order to take into consideration the diverse realities of Europe, we are proposing that artists and companies, circus arts professionals, and more generally those from the performing arts field should send contributions ahead of time in order to share their experiences and difficulties, to make known examples of good practice, and to help formulate concrete propositions that will improve the situation of the sector and reflect how to best position contemporary circus in the face of transnational issues.
Fresh Circus #2 is proposed by Circostrada Network, European platform for the street arts and circus, and is
coordinated by HorsLesMurs. This event is held in partnership with the Parc et Grande Halle de la Villette, Onda,
Fondation BNP-Paribas and Stradda, with the financial support of the French Ministry of Culture and
Communication and the European Commission through its Culture Programme.

Circostrada Δικτύου, που συντονίζεται από HorsLesMurs, διοργανώνει Fresh Circus # 2, ευρωπαϊκό σεμινάριο για την ανάπτυξη των τεχνών του τσίρκου, στις 12 και 13 Απριλίου 2012. Ο στόχος αυτή τη στιγμή μέσο προβληματισμού και ανταλλαγής πληροφοριών είναι να διατυπωθεί μια σειρά από συγκεκριμένες συστάσεις για τη βελτίωση της υποδομής και της αναγνώρισης του τομέα.Προκειμένου να δημιουργηθούν ευκαιρίες για την καλλιτεχνική κινητικότητα, να φέρει τις παραστατικές τέχνες στην ψηφιακή εποχή, να διευκολυνθεί η πρόσβαση στον πολιτισμό, να σκεφτούμε νέα οικονομικά μοντέλα, να αυξηθεί η αναγνώριση των τεχνών στην κοινωνία, να συμμετέχει στην ανανέωση των δημόσιων πολιτικών - αλλά αυτά είναι μερικά από τα προβλήματα του οποίου ολόκληρο το πολιτιστικό αντιμετωπίζει ο κλάδος.Είναι ένα θέμα το οποίο μπορούν να επωφεληθούν σημαντικά από τσίρκο καινοτόμες συνεισφορές.Προκειμένου να διευκολυνθεί η προσέγγιση και η αντιμετώπιση των ζητημάτων που συνδέονται με τον κλάδο μας, τα μέλη του Circostrada προτείνει να αρθρώσει το σεμινάριο γύρω από δέκα θεματικές συνεδρίες εργασίας. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, προκειμένουνα λαμβάνει υπόψη τις διαφορετικές πραγματικότητες της Ευρώπης, προτείνουμε ότι οι καλλιτέχνες και οι εταιρείες που αφορούν την τέχνη του τσίρκουεπαγγελματίες, και γενικότερα εκείνων που προέρχονται από την επίδοση στον πολιτιστικό τομέα θα πρέπει να στείλουν τις συνεισφορές τους μπροστά από το χρόνο στοπροκειμένου να μοιραστούν τις εμπειρίες και τις δυσκολίες τους, να κάνουν γνωστά παραδείγματα καλής πρακτικής, και να συμβάλουν στη διαμόρφωση
Fresh Circus #2 προτείνεται από Circostrada Δίκτυο, ευρωπαϊκής πλατφόρμας για των τεχνών του δρόμου και του τσίρκου, και συντονίζεται από HorsLesMurs. Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιείται σε συνεργασία με το Parc et Grande Halle de la Villette, Onda,συγκεκριμένες προτάσεις που θα βελτιώσουν την κατάσταση του τομέα και αντικατοπτρίζουν το πώς να τοποθετήσετε το καλύτερο σύγχρονο τσίρκο στο πρόσωπο των διακρατικών ζητημάτων.
